It was announced today that Milford Bay Smoked Trout has been recalled by the CFIA (Class 1 recall) as it may contain dangerous bacteria (Clostridium botulinum).
Kolapore Springs smokes and packages our trout at a local facility that is not in any way associated with Milford Bay Trout Farms Inc. This facility is federally licensed and HACCP approved, which ensures stringent food handling and packaging steps are followed.
